Maikstrings — Music Theory from Cuxhaven

Maikstrings is an independent Android developer from Cuxhaven, Germany. A passion for music and software led to a collection of music theory apps — all aimed at making music theory understandable and practically accessible.

The focus is on the circle of fifths, scales and guitar tools like the capodaster. The apps are deliberately simple: no fluff, no unnecessary sign-ups — ready to use immediately, also offline.

The main app Circle of Fifths Auto is actively maintained and regularly receives new features: musical staff with speaker, interval visualization with sine waves, tuner for guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, mandolin and other instruments, metronome, and the Chord Ring for chord formulas.
